Dr. Redger is the Assistant Professor at the KU Department of Urology. He graduated from Creighton University with a BS in Biology in 2008. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Kansas. After that, he completed a general surgery internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 2019, Dr. Redger completed his Urology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital and finally completed his fellowship in reconstructive urology at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Redger’s areas of interest include genitourinary trauma and reconstruction, ureteral stricture, UPJ obstruction, bladder diverticulum, posterior urethral stenosis, male incontinence, female incontinence, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, BPH, buried penis, urinary retention, and genitourinary fistulas.

Dr. Redger understands that complications from surgery or radiation therapy, injury and trauma, or even aging can cause alterations in the anatomy and function of genitourinary organs. This is why as a reconstructive urologist, Dr. Redger sees that he has the privilege of offering patients medical or surgical therapies to restore normal genitourinary anatomy and function, and thus improve quality of life.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Redger enjoys spending time with family as well as food, travel, fitness, reading, and keeping up with KU Jayhawks basketball and KC Chiefs football.
