John Arthur Taylor III

John Arthur Taylor III, MD, MS

Dr. Taylor is the Deputy Director of the Institute for Advancing Medical Innovation. He graduated from Lafayette College and attended Columbia University, Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons, where he received his M.D. While there, he specialized in general surgery in the field of urology.

Dr.Taylor’s main focus is in the fields of bladder cancer treatments and new drug developments. He founded the Albert Institute, an international non-profit bladder cancer research institute. He also enabled the development of Fosciclopirox, conducting FDA pre-clinical studies in his lab and completing Phase I/II in human use trials of the drug.
