Hadley Wyre

Hadley Wyre, MD, FACS

Dr. Wyre is the Associate Professor for the Division of Urologic Oncology. He graduated from the University of Richmond in 2002. He received his M.D. from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA in 2006 after completing his residency there. He was also the Urologic Trauma/Reconstruction at Fellow Memorial Hospital from 2011-2012. He is also a Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) accredited Urologic Oncology Fellow at the University of Kansas Medical School from 2012-2014.

As a specialist and reconstructive surgeon, he can provide both services to his patients, which can cut down on risks of complications and increase recovery.

He specializes in the field of Urologic Oncology and performs penile, testis, bladder, urethral, kidney, and cancer surgery. As a reconstructive surgeon, he can restore functionality and provides restoration to tissue that may have been damaged with radiation treatments, including reconstruction for male urethral stricture disease, penile cancer, and Extramammary Paget’s disease.

He strives to build a meaningful connection with his patients and their families and to restore trust within the medical field.

In his spare time, Dr. Wyre enjoys traveling with his wife Kristen Rae, especially snow skiing and backcountry backpacking. He dedicates his weekend mornings to road cycling, plays classical guitar, and reads modern fiction and literature.
