Casey Kowalik

Casey Kowalik, MD, FACS

Dr. Kowalik is the Assistant Professor and Residency Program Director at the University of Kansas Department of Urology. She completed her undergraduate at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Her residency was undertaken at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. She completed her fellowship at Vanderbilt University.

She specializes in treating neurogenic bladder, male and female urinary incontinence, and vesicovaginal fistulae. She has pioneered several new techniques including treating female stress urinary by injecting autologous muscle-derived cells into the urethra.

Dr.Kowalik strives to provide the highest quality of urologic care by applying her knowledge and expertise to each patient. Her goal is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the patient to empower them in a shared decision-making process to lead to successful outcomes.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her daughters and doing pilates.
